Adepto

Adepto is a SaaS platform that helps organisations better find, engage and manage their internal and external on-demand workforce. Unlike its competitors, Adepto is solely focused on providing a platform for organisations to source the right worker when they need them. This might be internal or external to the organisation and disregards hierarchies.

Aiming to be the leading contingent workforce management platform in the industry and to then move into broader capability brokerage, their team focuses on being customer-centric in their operations wherein their products reflect the needs of the market and more importantly their customers. With this in mind, the Adepto team is working towards producing a more scalable product so that they can efficiently expand into new markets.

Adepto wants to enable organisations to put their people front-and-centre as the primary driving force for their business’s success. With this in mind, they are committed to making it easier for organisations to identify, engage, attract and manage workers. They want to foster an environment that not only attracts the best candidates, but gives confidence to companies looking to work with them.

Their current offer is the first major step to change the way the world works. They see a future where people work for organisations in a way that’s more like being part of a great movie production rather than business as usual; being part of a network of professionals rather than a cog in the wheel. Their product has capabilities that include building your own personalized profile, inviting candidates, search function, talent pooling, In-app notifications, creating and managing job requests, rating and commenting and reporting. Adepto is constantly working to push out new features to meet the needs of their current and potential customers. They also offer consulting services regarding labour mobility, human capital advisory and strategic planning.

Adepto’s success has been recognised by being selected in competitive global start-up competitions. This includes PwC and SwiftScale’s Future of Work  Programme,  a unique initiative to identify and nurture fast-growth enterprise start-ups with the potential to transform the workplace through scalable innovation. This involved travelling to London for a combination of executive mentoring, corporate introductions and a business development curriculum.

They were also selected for KPMG’s Elevate61 program in Sydney which involved a number of interactive, boot camp-style workshop’s designed to fast track all Australian entrepreneurs. After success in these workshops, they were then asked to join the US tour which takes a small number of selected start-ups to three key entrepreneurial US hubs: Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York for a program of workshops, seminars and events.

The Westpac Business of Tomorrow Program is another competition Adepto was successful with. This involves national media recognition as well as an invitation and flights to the award summit in Sydney.
