To find out where the spectacle machines will be, Snap has released an online guide that gives you a chance to see their area 24 hours ahead of time
Snapchat parent organization Snap Inc. has uncovered how it will offer its camera-prepared, $130 Spectacles glasses: through pop-up vending machines, known as “Snapbots”. Various snapbots will eventually show up in startling areas for just a day. The initial pop-up was set up in Venice Beach California last Thursday and hundreds of people lined up, adorned by the Snap’s statement yellow interactive machines.
Each Snapbot vending machine will have motion detectors that transform on its round screen when somebody ventures into view…
The screen will indicate footage of video recordings from the eye wear, which can record 10-second clasps that match up with the Snapchat application. Three catches that relate to the three hues (coral, dark and blue-green) Spectacles offer in will let you for all intents and purposes attempt on every shading on the screen before it lets you proceed with your purchase.
The organization had already shared that the Spectacles would be sold in “limited supply” this fall
According to Adweek, these pop-up vending snapbots will embody Spectacles’ exclusive retail dissemination for a considerable length of time. Furthermore, people can now visit Spectacles.com for further information on the day-to-day whereabouts of the pop-up vending machines. It is to be expected that the machines will be set up at touristy locations.
Currently, Snap Inc, has been promoting their spectacles by distributing around 60 street-side billboards across several cities
These ads are presented to intentionally mark the presence of Snap Inc with their trademark mascot, the ghost. It’s intended to generate enthusiasm without having the passersby feel overwhelmed.
